The Transformation Calculator is a tool to convert transformations (rotation/translation) between different mathematical representations.

The user can define transformations either as combination of translation and euler angles or axis angle (in degrees or radians) or as quaternions. The tool allows conversions between the different transformation representations:

• translation vector and rotation as euler angles in degrees
• translation vector and rotation as euler angles in radians
• translation vector and rotation as axis angle in degrees
• translation vector and rotation as axis angle in radians
• translation vector and rotation in quaternions
• 4x4 transformation matrix

Furthermore the following actions are possible:

• multiplication of two transformations via the multiplication area
• set the first and the second factor and then select the result via the radiobuttons
• inversion of a transformation matrix via the "Invert" button
• transposition of a transformation matrix via the "Transpose" button
• reset of a transformation via the "Reset" button
• copy a transformation via the "Copy" button for further use (e.g. in the AS_Tracking_Data.xml file)
• paste a transformation via the "Paste" button

The possibility to copy and paste transformations is very useful for interacting with many tools of the Unifeye GUI where this functionality is also available. The most common tools are:

• Cos2Cos Measurement
• Geometries/Planes
• Virtual Camera Manager
• Transform from Points
