Version history

Please note that starting from version 4.5 Unifeye Prototyping and Unifeye Planner are now combined into the new product Unifeye Engineer.

Changes from Unifeye Prototyping/Planner 4.0 to Unifeye Engineer 4.5

  • When you start Unifeye Engineer a GUI selector dialogue will popup. You can select Prototyping, Planner or Everything. Depending on which mode you select, tools will be included or excluded from the GUI. If you select Prototyping the GUI will be very similar to the Prototyping 4.0 release, the same is true for Planner. When you select Everything all available tools will show up in the rightbar. If you want to change the GUI mode later on, you can open the dialogue by selecting View->Tool settings->Change GUI mode.

  • The new tool: "Report Creator" is available which allows you to create Microsoft Powerpoint reports for different with different report items:

    • a screenshot report item

    • a screenshot series report item

    • a discrepancy measurement report item

The reports can be exported to Powerpoint but also stored (for later adjustments) in XML format.

  • Unifeye Engineer now supports 64-bit operating systems nativly which enables you to load large amounts of 3D data without having to respect the 4GB main memory limit of the former 32-bit limitation.
  • Performance improvements of the visualization/rendering
  • Floating license are available upon request (please contact sales@metaio.com)
  • When using JT files (which requires a valid JT SDK version 5.3.1.0) the according JT SoldToID can be encrypted on the local system.
